Position Description:

A successful Customer Success Manager will focus on driving customer adoption, growth and retention. You will provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to hc1 customers. The close relationships developed with your customers will allow you to understand their business needs and technical challenges, and help them achieve the greatest value from hc1.The Customer Success Manager reports to the SVP of Services Delivery and works collaboratively with other hc1 teams.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all account management matters as well as establish and maintain executive relationships
  • Drive product adoption and ensure customers are leveraging the solution to achieve full business value; educate clients on new features and releases
  • Closely manage and nurture accounts to identify and eliminate the risk of attrition
  • Help customers calculate and monetize business value by driving quarterly reporting with customers; measuring business value, penetration, usage, and adoption
  • Identify and execute cross-sell/up-sell opportunities of product and services
  • Ensure customer feedback is clearly captured and conveyed internally to enable ongoing improvement of products and services
  • Lead and manage the renewal process
  • Travel up to 50%

 

Your background should include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of customer success or account management experience
  • Consultative approach to understanding client workflow and positioning SaaS solutions
  • Desire to work in a dynamic, fast paced, high growth environment
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure
  • Understanding business value of metrics and using excel to communicate
  • Excellent communication skills, including issue tracking, triaging and crisis management

Position Description:

The Sr. Software Engineer designs, develops, implements and maintains the products that support the hc1 platform.  By participating in design and code reviews, documentation of design, and implementation of SDLC methodologies to ensure high quality software, this position helps to evolve the world’s bioinformatics leader in precision testing and prescribing. As part of Engineering Team, reporting to the SVP of Engineering, this role is critical to the maturation of all hc1 products from UX/UI to server-side integrations. The role is also critical to the maturation of all hc1 products by incorporating Continuous Improvement methods and software quality best practices into the team’s work products.

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Contribute to the development of hc1's products
  • Design, build, and test new features and functionality based on requirements provided
  • Participate in design and code reviews, documentation of design, and implementation of SDLC methodologies to ensure high quality software
  • Provide documentation and training to solution architects, implementation engineers and clients on new functionality
  • Troubleshoot and fix software application problems
  • Participate in hc1’s software process quality efforts

 

Your background should include:

  • A four-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.  A master’s degree in Computer Science is preferred
  • 5+ years experience with software design and development
  • 3+ years professional experience doing enterprise Java development
  • Experience in designing and developing modern User Interfaces for desktop and mobile
  • Experience in developing and debugging multithreaded and transactional server applications
  • Experience in software design patterns
  • A thorough understanding of the concepts and components required for software interfaces and integration
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem solving skills
