Using Local Risk Index to Identify Emerging COVID-19 Hotspots with the CV19 Lab Testing Dashboard powered by hc1

The CV19 Lab Testing Dashboard powered by hc1 supports leaders actively working to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 with lab testing insights.

We’ve enhanced cv19dashboard.org to include a Local Risk Index (LRI) , so public health professionals and healthcare providers can see at-a-glance if their local area or state is at increased risk for spreading COVID-19 infection five to 21 days earlier.

During this upcoming 30-minute webinar hc1 will share:

  • A brief overview of the CV19 Lab Testing Dashboard powered by hc1
  • A look at how LRI gives a daily current score indicating the acceleration of COVID-19 risk in a local community (or deceleration if falling.)
  • Demonstration of other enhanced features including LRI (Rolling) and Testing Trends
  • Live Q&A

Why did hc1 create the CV19 Lab Testing Dashboard?

Public health officials and healthcare institutions have an urgent need for immediate access to insight into lab test results to best respond to this evolving pandemic. According to The World Health Organization, “Diagnostic testing for COVID-19 is critical to tracking the virus, understanding epidemiology, informing case management, and suppressing transmission.”

With a coalition of lab partners, hc1 created the CV19 Lab Testing Dashboard as a free public health service to individuals directly involved with implementing policies and delivering care to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Included are public health officials, government agencies and healthcare providers. Qualified individuals need only request access at CV19dashboard.org.
