As we head into 2020 we are looking back on what hc1 accomplished in 2019. The company hit some major milestones, like surpassing 1 billion lab results processed by our cloud bioinformatics platform each month. Here are some of the other key accomplishments we are celebrating as we plan for an even bigger year and decade to come.

hc1 launched a new brand. In October, hc1 slipped into a new look that better reflects the expansion and growth we’ve experienced over the past eight years, as well as the direction we’re now headed.  Read our blog post about the new look.

Quest Diagnostics and hc1 announced a strategic collaboration. Quest® Lab Stewardship™ powered by® employs machine learning to harmonize laboratory testing across health systems to optimize laboratory test utilization. hc1 Opioid Advisor™ made information vital to clinical decision making easier to access. Opioid Advisor integrates with both LIS and PDMP systems to compare toxicology results with PDMP data. By automating the retrieval and reconciliation of laboratory and prescription data from different sources and delivering this information in a color-coded, clear report, Opioid Advisor makes it easier for prescribers to monitor their patients’ opioid use and prevent opioid use disorder and overdose.
