Brad Bostic

Founder, CEO and Chairman of the Board

Brad Bostic is an entrepreneurial leader who has founded and led multiple high-growth technology companies serving in the capacities of CEO and President.  Brad has built successful companies in the mobile, SaaS, and enterprise software markets.  Brad has been recognized for his achievements in business including being named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” list recognizing the state’s top business leaders under the age of forty.

Brad co-founded ChaCha, a mobile and online answers service, in January 2006 and served as President through February 2009.  Under his leadership, ChaCha became the world’s fastest growing text (SMS) search service winning a number of awards including AT&T Fast Pitch, Fierce 15 Most Influential Mobile Companies, and Frost & Sullivan’s Most Innovative Mobile Search product.  Brad graduated from Indiana University where he majored in business with an emphasis on Information Systems.

John Baker, MBA


John Baker is EVP & COO of National Wine & Spirits, Inc. (NWS/National). Founded in 1936 and headquartered in Indianapolis, NWS operates as a wine & spirits wholesaler in Indiana and Authorized Distribution Agent (ADA) and wine wholesaler in Michigan. National’s 1,100 employees proudly service 20,000 licensees with 14,000 products represented by 450 suppliers.

As EVP/COO of National, John is ultimately responsible for all operations as well as the financial performance of the country’s eighth largest wholesaler. He works closely with the ownership and management team, as well as a variety of external partners to develop and implement business plans that have delivered growth for NWS and its suppliers.  John graduated from the University of Miami (OH) and received his MBA from Vanderbilt’s Owen School of Management.


Mel Hall, PhD


Mel Hall is the former CEO and President of Press Ganey Associates, Inc.  Under his leadership, the company grew from 40 employees in 1996 to more than 640 in 2009 resulting in a successful private equity transaction that valued the company at more than $750 million.  Press Ganey counts more than 7,000 healthcare facilities as clients including more than 45% of U.S. hospitals.  Mel now serves as Chairman of Press Ganey, Senior Healthcare Advisor for SNR Denton, and Consultant to the private equity firm American Securities Capital Partners.  Mel has a B.A. in History and Political Science from Taylor University and a Ph.D. in Sociology, Research Methods, and Organizational Development from the University of Notre Dame.


John Mills, MD, PhD


John Mills served as Senior Vice President and President of Clinical Support Services for Covance, the largest central lab in the world, where he led a $300 million business with more than 2,000 employees.  Prior to holding leadership roleswith several major global lab companies, John was a Specialist in Aviation Medicine with the United Kingdom’s Royal Air Force.  John is currently the Chairman and Co-Founder of BioStorage Technologies, a growing leader in the specimen management market serving labs globally.  John received his Medical degree from the University of Cambridge and Ph.D. in Endocrinology from the University of Surrey.

Mark Shary


Mark Shary brings a wealth of experience building high-growth technology companies to  Mark founded HubLink, a high growth healthcare technology company, and led two others after beginning his career with Ernst & Young.  Mark led HubLink from inception to more than $50 million in revenue through a combination of organic growth and mergers.  Mark has directly managed all core functional business areas for a variety of companies and has built and managed international sales organizations.  He has served as CFO of a listed company, bought and sold technology businesses, managed a large R&D team, negotiated multi-million dollar technology deals, and financed several startups. 

Mark has led and advised on dozens of corporate finance transactions ranging in size from several million to several billion dollars.  These transactions have included private and public equity raises, commercial debt, senior bank debt, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and related tax and accounting structures.  He has served on the board of two public and three private companies.  He has a B.B.A in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and is a CPA.
